So far the team consists solely of the founder and owner Johannes Mathiesen. Born and raised in Denmark, after struggling to find his footing, RECONZY was created with a fondness for clothes, design and a desire to make a positive impact on the world we live in, to help others find their footing.

We highly value simplicity, honesty and transparency. We strive to honour these three values in every single decision and step we take, now and forever. We want our clothes to be more than simply garments that you wear, we want it to help you be yourself and be confident in doing so. We believe that simplicity, honesty and trasparency is the recipe to for being yourself.

We make modern designs with some humour and seriousness to it, meant to reflect and provide comfort in your life. It's everyday clothing that you can wear at home or out in the streets. All our clothes, while we use different processing methods of the garments to create different textures, comfort is always of very high priority.

RECONZY aims to become the leading brand worldwide, in relation to alternative streetwear. As we grow, we plan to expand into more types of clothing, as well as skateboards, jewelry and a music label. Of course keeping our values the whole way, so we can be a guiding light for the ones who need it.
